Desktop Support Engineer | Global Hedge Fund | Singapore | High-Touch Technology Support

Are you an experienced support engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and working directly with demanding users in a fast-paced investment environment?

I'm working with a leading global hedge fund that's hiring a Desktop Support Engineer in Singapore. This is a high-touch role supporting users across the business, including senior leadership, with exposure to a much broader technology environment than traditional desktop support.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Provide desktop and end-user support across local and global offices.
2. Support Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, Exchange Online, and Citrix.
3. Manage Azure VDI, VPN access, mobile devices, and collaboration tools.
4. Support Bloomberg and other market-data applications.
5. Troubleshoot hardware, networking, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity issues.
6. Manage onboarding, offboarding, device inventory, and office moves.
7. Track incidents through JIRA and ensure timely, well-documented resolution.
8. Contribute to PowerShell scripting, automation, and software packaging.

What We're Looking For

1. Around 5 years of desktop support experience within a hedge fund, asset manager, investment firm, or financial institution.
2. Strong Windows, Active Directory, Office 365, Citrix, and VDI experience.
3. Experience supporting Bloomberg, VPN connectivity, mobile devices, and remote users.
4. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.
5. The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and follow issues through to resolution.
6. PowerShell, automation, or SCCM experience would be advantageous.
7. Applicants must already have the right to work in Singapore, as visa sponsorship is not available.
