About our client

We are working with an entrepreneurial and fast growing lower mid-market fund that specialises in the technology sector. Their expertise within their sector has helped them build a well-established network of founders, owners and entrepreneurs, providing them with insights into some of the newest and most innovative technology related investments. They are looking to add a Data & Analytics Manager to their high performing and dedicated London-based team.
What the job involves

• Monitoring and analysing portfolio companies, using AI to provide monitoring updates
• Deliver practical data analysis, such as turning pricing data into board-level insight
• Utilising AI to support pre-deal diligence
• Presenting to the board and providing the figures and reasoning with which to implement strategic initiatives in portfolio companies
• Championing AI to improve internal efficiencies
• Finding internal and external workstreams that can be developed and helping to implement changes

Who we are looking for

• 4-9 years of experience as one of the following:
• Consultant from a specialised private equity focused data & AI consultancy firm
• Data/analytics leaders at scale-up SaaS & data businesses
• In-house data scientist or AI team member from a private equity fund
• Strategy consultant with heavy involvement in data science & analytic practices
• Keen interest in AI and using it to improve efficiency
• Understanding of PE, the deal process, value creation, data rooms and smaller technology companies
• Strong academic background
• Entrepreneurial and a self-starter, able to identify problem areas and develop suitable initiatives
