Company Overview
The Western Placer Waste Management Authority (WPWMA) is a regional agency established in 1978 through a joint exercise of powers agreement between Placer County and the cities of Lincoln, Rocklin, and Roseville (member agencies). The WPWMA serves the waste and recycling needs for around 400,000 Placer County residents and businesses – excluding the Tahoe and Truckee area. The WPWMA’s campus includes a Materials Recovery Facility, a Construction & Demolition recycling facility, composting facilities, a household hazardous waste facility, recycling buyback and public drop off facilities, and the only active landfill in Placer County. Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
The WPWMA recently broke ground on a $120 million renovation project of several facilities on our campus, including a state-of-the-art Materials Recovery Facility, composting facilities, and a Construction & Demolition recycling facility.

The Senior Civil Engineer classification is scheduled to receive general wage increases of 4.0% in July 2023 and 4.0% in July 2024.
