As Senior Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking technology, you will drive the delivery of robust, scalable applications by leading agile teams and leveraging expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Python, AWS Cloud, and modern software engineering practices. You will demonstrate strong leadership EQ and executive presence, ensuring technical excellence and fostering innovation.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership to software engineering teams, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Python, and microservices architecture.
• Champion best practices in SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing (JUnit).
• Architect and implement solutions leveraging AWS Cloud services (Lambda, ECS, Glue, SQS, etc.).
• Ensure high standards of code quality, security, and performance.
• Foster executive presence and effective communication with stakeholders and leadership.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering tools and frameworks, including Kafka and microservices.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent, promoting continuous learning and growth.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Proven experience in software engineering leadership roles.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Python, and full-stack development.
• Proven experience in SDLC, microservices, DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing (JUnit).
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services (Lambda, ECS, Glue, SQS, etc.).
• Familiarity with Kafka and distributed systems.
• Demonstrated leadership EQ and executive presence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Track record of driving engineering best practices and innovation.
