Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh . This role will be based remote anywhere in the US . This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Specialty Risk Engineering Consultant, you will be part of a highly skilled team that advises client companies on risk management strategies, uses data to optimize risk profiles, and recommends plans to monitor and mitigate risk exposure. You will lead large-scale strategic projects, coach team members, and solve complex problems as a recognized subject matter expert.We will count on you to:
- Advise and direct colleagues on research & analysis needs for complex client projects and instruct them in data collection to offer best-in-class guidance to clients
- Drive the expansion of client relationships for large projects and harness opportunities to gain new work and clients
- Leverage expert knowledge of industry and best practices to advise clients on complex project approaches, methodologies, and tools to provide superior results
- Predict future roadblocks in client projects and formulate strategic action plans to prevent them
- Review client deliverables and provide advanced recommendations and analysis to support the project
- Lead highly specialized and/or unique projects for clients to provide exceptional results
What you need to have:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and coach team members
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills

- Advanced degree in engineering, risk management, or related field
- Experience with specialty risk consulting in insurance or financial services
- Certifications in risk management or engineering

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $139,800 to $297,900.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
