Description

Principal Engineer, Systems Engrng; Rockwell Collins Inc. Cedar Rapids, IA. 5% nat’l travel. Perform analysis at all levels of the total system product including concept, design, fabrication, modeling, test, installation, operation, maintenance & disposal. Must have a bach degree or equiv in Aero/Comp/Electronic/Sys Eng’g or a rltd field & at least 8 yrs of progressive exp as a Systems Eng or related role (OR master & 5 yrs exp). Must have 5 yrs exp w/: designing & developing safety-critical, real-time, embedded avionics systems that are compliant w/ ARP-4754, RTCA DO-178, DO-160 &/or DO-254, using industry standard communication bus architectures & avionics architectural standards; external customers to define system-level operational scenarios, originating reqs, interface specifications & validation tests; all phases of system dev lifecycle; & 3 yrs exp providing tech direction to a team of systems engs, delegating tasks, overseeing & reviewing wrk.
