SUNY Niagara, located in Western New York within our Nursing & Allied Health Division, is seeking qualified and motivated Radiologic Technology professionals for two part-time positions within our highly regarded Radiologic Technology Program.
Part-Time Radiologic Technology Clinic Instructor
SUNY Niagara is seeking candidates to provide high-quality clinical instruction to students in the Radiologic Technology Program. Clinical Instructors report to the Program and Clinical Coordinators and are responsible for guiding, supervising, and evaluating students within clinical education settings.
Compensation:
For individuals teaching at least 3 credits in a semester: $860 per lab hour
Paid orientation to teaching responsibilities is provided.
Typical Work Activities:
- Provide instruction, supervision, and evaluation in accordance with program policies to support successful achievement of student learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of student clinical time.
- Determine and maintain competency evaluations.
- Ensure safe radiation protection practices in accordance with ALARA standards.
- Participate in program assessment activities.
- Adhere to the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Code of Ethics.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in radiologic technology.
- Current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current New York State Department of Health licensure.

Part-Time Radiologic Technology Program Technical Assistant
SUNY Niagara also seeks a part-time Technical Assistant to support laboratory instruction and operations for the Radiologic Technology Program. This role provides hands-on laboratory supervision, instructional support, and program data assistance.
Compensation:
Bachelor’s degree or lower: $21.86 per hour
Master’s degree or higher: $24.04 per hour
Typical Work Activities:
- Participate in all college laboratory activities, including:
- Demonstrating radiographic procedures.
- Guiding and assisting students in the performance of radiographic procedures.
- Evaluating student performance and conducting image analysis.
- Supervising laboratory operations and reporting equipment malfunctions.
- Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Manage laboratory incident procedures, including notifying the Wellness Center and Program Coordinator/Division Chairperson as required.
- Assist in compiling program and institutional assessment data.
- Support divisional and college duties as needed.
Required Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
- Current ARRT certification (or equivalent).
- Current New York State Department of Health licensure in radiography.
