Key Requirements

• Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, where academic excellence goes hand in hand with a strong sense of community, invites applications for a Teacher-Scholar Fellowship in the sciences, beginning July 1st, 2027. The Kenyon College Teacher-Scholar Fellowship in the sciences program is for scholars who recently completed their doctoral work (no more than five years after their PhD graduation) and are at the postdoctoral level. We hope the experience of teaching, researching, and living for two years at Kenyon will encourage these Teacher-Scholars to consider a liberal arts college as a place to begin their careers as teachers and scholars. Fellowships will be awarded in: Biology, Neuroscience, Psychology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics as well as in interdisciplinary work that bridges departments (e.g., Biochemistry, Environmental Science).

A complete application will be composed of 1) a cover letter discussing the applicant’s interest in a teaching/research career and eligibility for the fellowship; 2) a Curriculum Vitae; 3) a ~2-page statement of the applicant’s research and scholarship clearly indicating the field or discipline; and 4) contact information for three professional references.
