Position Description:
The Instructional Design and Technology Specialist II - Course Support will maintain quality online courses by providing course enhancements in RISE, faculty consultations, and just-in-time technical support. This individual will assist faculty with updating instructional materials, accessible documents, videos, and/or other resources for courses in an Learning Management System. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, use RISE or other tools expertly, and have a solid understanding of online pedagogy. This is a grant position funded until 9/7/2027.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Enhance/update/create courses using RISE.
- Meet key performance indicators associated with faculty support services and meet deadlines for updated module releases.
- Maintain course content created by the previous Instructional Designer with proper versioning.
- Execute a variety of technical functions to assist in the training and support of the online modules.
- Assist with special projects/initiatives, including those related to quality assurance reviews, online instructional design
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with faculty and instructional designers in an online learning context
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills is desired
- Experience working in a learning management system (LMS)

Target Compensation Maximum:
$79,540.00
Target Compensation Minimum:
$52,993.00
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
