Key Responsibilities:

The Business Analyst ensures business requirements are translated to IT functional requirements used in providing IT solutions from Global IT organizations, Commercial-off-the-shelf/Cloud applications, third-party/ Internal custom-developed Applications. This position reports directly to the IT Ministry Lead, working in conjunction with the System Analyst and Data Engineer, and provides support to IT Business partners who represent the Organization's business units.

Strategy Development & Planning

• Involved in all phases of the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions throughout the business case and development life cycle processes, supporting several business functions and several moderately complex business processes.
• Conducts data gathering and analysis to understand business strategy and direction.
• Participates in short-term planning sessions with a client to implement process improvement within an assigned client area.
• Develop business cases.

Resource Acquisition & Management

• Provide input to project plans related to the requested application.
• Actively participates in the creation, review and analysis of user stories/epics in projects utilizing agile development methodology.

Accountability & Quality Assurance

• Responsible for liaising between the business community and the IT organization to translate business needs into IT requirements.
• Assesses client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities and advise on options.
• Develops, writes, and communicates business requirements and functional specifications for implementing business solutions.
• Analyzes customers' operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Analyzes and recommends improvements to business processes and models.
• Documents current business processes and models.
• Provides factual content to feasibility studies for standard development projects and enhancements.
• Identifies and resolves issues.
• Uses new and varied analytical techniques
• Develops user test cases and validates test results during user acceptance testing.
• Monitors and analyzes metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Supports and participates in the formal reporting of project status.

Capacity Building

• Provide client support, consultation, and subject matter expertise for system development, maintenance, and support.

Networking & Coordination

• Serves as the link between the business unit(s), third-party vendors, and the IT technical team.
• Participates in the vendor selection process for clients following IT standards and specifications as required.
• Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to the final implementation phase of projects

Management & Leadership

• Build and maintain a positive team spirit with staff in respective units and departments.
• Implement all activities aligned with WV Indonesia's Child Protection Policy and Standard, including regularly participating in CP awareness and training, and responding to child protection incidents promptly and appropriately.
• Submit the monthly report on time.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a combined Business Analyst role or similar roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Degrees in Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Data Science are also relevant.
• Certifications that enhance credibility and skills:
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• English (Business Proficiency)
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, as necessary.
• Critical thinking and creativity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of business analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with industry-specific tools and practices.
• Extensive knowledge of programming languages and technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of business process modelling techniques and tools (e.g., BPMN) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to use and manage GIT to store the source code
• Ability to work with SCRUM project style
