We are seeking a Director of Safety & Risk Engineering to provide executive leadership for mandatory safety standards and loss prevention across all Honor companies.
This role is not a compliance-only function. It is a strategic risk leadership position responsible for reducing incident frequency and severity, strengthening operational discipline, and directly supporting the financial performance and sustainability of the captive insurance program.
Key Responsibilities

- Establish and enforce network-wide safety standards required for participation in the Honor Assurance insurance program.
- Operational Risk Engineering

- Implement practical controls to reduce both frequency and severity of claims.
- Business Unit Partnership & Accountability
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Business Unit Leaders while maintaining authority to require corrective actions and compliance.
- Data, Analytics & Performance Frameworks
- Define required leading indicators, reporting standards, and performance scorecards.
- Translate safety performance into actionable executive insights tied to risk and insurance outcomes.
- Incident & Severity Management
- Lead root cause investigations and ensure lessons learned translate into durable operational improvement.
- Leadership Development
- Equip supervisors and field leaders to own safety execution as part of how work is performed, not as an overlay.
- Coordination with Claims & Insurance Partners
- Collaborate with claims management, TPAs, actuaries, and captive governance to ensure alignment between safety outcomes and financial risk performance.
- Executive Reporting
- Report regularly to Honor Assurance leadership and the Board on risk trends, compliance posture, and strategic recommendations.
