- Assistant Engineering Director
Description
Individual performs difficult professional work relating to the planning, design, and construction of WSACC wastewater transmission/treatment facilities, providing WSACC technical lead and project management for major expense and capital improvement projects, organizing, analyzing and directing the operation of the wastewater collection system, interacting with staff and local government officials from jurisdictions/entities serviced by WSACC facilities, coordinating with local, State, and Federal regulatory agencies on WSACC projects/activities, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Engineering Director. Departmental supervision is exercised over all personnel within the department.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with coursework in chemistry, biology, environmental engineering, civil engineering, or related field and extensive experience in treatment plant management or water/wastewater engineering including some supervisory experience, moderate experience in wastewater engineering project design; extensive experience in engineering plan review, construction administration, project coordination, bid coordination, and contract administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
