Job overview and responsibilities
In the analyst role, you will be responsible for performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, crafting user stories, triage issues, facilitate meetings, data analytics, and/or support functional/user acceptance testing. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar with Agile scrum software development methodologies, have the ability to write great user stories, have a natural analytical way of thinking/problem solving and be able to explain difficult concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
- Work on one or more moderate to complex projects
- Require moderate guidance to manage work and time
- Assist with planning and design of solutions via requirements gathering
- Clearly document, communicate and maintain requirements/user stories and solutions, and associated analysis
- Work directly in data analytics tool
- Create simple workflow models and process maps based on input from multiple sources
- Lead and facilitate meetings with Technology and Business Partners to gather needs and requirements, solutions, plans, estimates and troubleshooting
- Identify problems/issues and find solutions
Qualifications
What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree - Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration preferred
- 3+ years of IT and/or business experience, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training
- Experience with data modeling, data transformation, and managing data sources to maintain accurate, secure, and high-performing dashboards
- Communication Skills: The ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and management, capable of successful formal and informal communication, speaks and writes clearly and understandably at the right level
- Teamwork: Involves working well in a collaborative setting, supporting work team by volunteering for and completing assignments, acting as a positive team member by contributing to discussions, developing and maintaining both formal and informal relationships enterprise-wide, defines success in terms of the entire team through mentoring and knowledge transfer
- Technical Expertise: Involves demonstrating a commitment to increasing knowledge and skills in current technical/functional area, keeping up to date on technical developments, staying informed as to industry practices, knowing how to apply relevant technical processes to appropriate business needs
- Successful completion of interviews required
- Reliable, punctual attendance
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Airline experience
- Knowledge using business reporting dashboards, including performance optimization, ensuring data accuracy, and ongoing alignment with stakeholder needs
- Experience with actively using and managing a data analytic tool, such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
The base pay range for this role is $81,795.00 to $106,602.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
